LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

We are located on the stolen territory of the Musqueam (xʷməθkʷəy̓əm), Squamish (Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw), and Tsleil-Waututh (səl̓ilwətaɁɬ) Nations now known as the beautiful city of Vancouver.

We are a culture and leadership development firm that aims to make work feel good and do good for commercial and not-for-profit clients from a wide spectrum of sectors and industries, including retail, tech, food and beverage, professional services, sports and recreation, and wealth management.

Our Story

Chloë Gow-Jarrett and Adam Millard launched 3fold from the back of their North Vancouver home in February 2016 after the birth of their second son.

Previously, Chloë managed lululemon athletica’s second store before leading their Training and Leadership Development departments during the company’s phenomenal early growth period from 2002 to 2015. During that time, lululemon scaled from 2 to over 200 stores. Adam was the first Development Director for imagine1day, a non-profit committed to ensuring that all Ethiopian children have access to quality education, free of foreign aid, by 2030. Leveraging their combined skills and experience in training, leadership development, business development, and strategy — 3fold was born.

Over time, Chloë & Adam’s passion for self and team development brought them into conversation with leaders from a wide range of industries committed to investing in their people. Recognizing the opportunity to share their collective experience in building and scaling successful ventures through people and culture development, they embarked on a journey to extend their expertise to a broader group of organizations. And just like that, 3fold had a clear goal: to work with values-driven organizations, developing people with intention and cultures with purpose.

 
 
 
 

3fold’s early adopters had clear leadership development needs. Our work with these initial leaders formed the basis of our first programs, Leading Self and Leading Others. Since then, Chloë and Adam have expanded 3fold in partnership with a growing team of remarkable people and have nurtured a supportive culture that fosters well-being. At 3fold, team members are encouraged to work autonomously and contribute to the business based on their unique strengths.

Now, in addition to leadership development programs, we offer executive advisory services, people development strategy, and culture development programs to best serve the evolving needs of our clients. With a focus on people, culture, and leadership capacity, we are consistently fulfilling our vision of a world where work feels good and does good.

We lower our carbon footprint year over year by carefully choosing local vendors, sourcing at least 80% of what we use as an organization within 60 km of our Vancouver HQ.
